MDH Shares Immunization Survey Results

November 18, 2019

Following the 2017 measles outbreak, Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) Somali outreach staff conducted a telephone survey with 300 Somali Minnesota families who had previously delayed vaccination with the measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine. The results of this survey have been shared through an infographic available in English and Somali.

The infographic provides useful insight for physicians about why families decided to vaccinate their children, where they got information about MMR vaccine, and how their children are doing after vaccination. The infographic is available on the MDH website.
