MNAAP Joins Physician Groups in Declaring Racism a Public Health Crisis

July 10, 2020

MNAAP signed on to a statement with eight other Minnesota physician organizations representing more than 5,000 physicians across the state, that declares racism a public health crisis and calls for steps we as health care leaders must take to begin to address it. It also calls on our colleagues in Minnesota’s health care systems, medical schools, health plans and government agencies to join us in committing to this work and being accountable for its success.

You can read the joint statement here, as well as review the chapter’s statement on racism.
