Committees

The National Committee is a group of of pediatricians working together to address issues at the national level. Several Minnesota Chapter members sit on the national committee.

Currently, the Minnesota Chapter has two members elected to serve on the National Committee:

Rich Kaplan, MD, FAAP -- Child Abuse and Neglect
Laura G. Hoyt, MD, FAAP -- Pediatric AIDS

Any Fellow of the AAP may nominate a Fellow, or themselves, for a committee member position. All nominees must submit a letter of nomination, a completed fact sheet, and a biosketch. Nomination packets can be found online in the AAP Member Center at www.aap.org/moc/commnoms.htm

Nominations are due March 1, 2010. No extentions.
